I have a BA in Economics because I love it. I want to get a high paying job as either an economist or operational researcher. Which one do you think would be more beneficial for me.

I think they both would be good. The Operational Research appears to me like it might have the potential to make more money because it is listed as being applicable to computers much more which will be valuable more and more w/ technology increases, although I did not see any legit listing of salaries for the field. This site said the median salary is about 60K: http://careers.stateuniversity.com/pages/221/Operations-Research-Analyst.html This site has the starting salary for the MA econ degree as over 60K, but it also lists management sciences as over $70K. http://www.erieri.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Datasearch.graph&id=125&Title=Accountant&state=Washington&indust I would go with Econ, but I'm biased.
